Description
These women’s heated base layer trousers are battery-powered heated pants designed to be worn as your first layer. They work with our batteries featuring 4 or 6 control levels. The trousers are made from a high-tech, moisture-wicking and stretch Gelanots™ fabric that blocks the wind and holds the flexible SoftHeat™ heating elements snugly against the body for optimal heat transfer, while minimising bulk. The garment is durable, washable and extremely lightweight. It is quite simply the most versatile, high-tech and efficient heated garment ever designed.
These heated trousers have four heat zones and deliver 28 W of heat to the legs and lower back. At the ankles there are also connectors for heated socks, located in zippered pockets (there when you need them, out of the way when you don’t). The heated socks can be powered together with the trousers. The trousers, with or without socks, should be powered by their own battery, separate from the heated shirt.
Heat where you need it. Our carbon SoftHeat™ heating panels are positioned exactly where you want the heat for optimal heat transfer. Through extensive testing, we have identified and placed the heating elements in the areas where you need them most.
More control over the heat. How much warmth you need depends on several factors, such as outside temperature and what layers you are wearing underneath or on top of the garment. Some manufacturers combine an underpowered battery with a basic 3-level button controller to keep costs down, which often leaves users dissatisfied. By using twice as many heating panels and having more available power to work with, the Heat Layer provides a more even warmth where the differences between the heat levels become clear and genuinely useful. We felt that three levels were not sufficient and therefore first moved to four levels, and later to six levels, after identifying clear “sweet spots” between the two highest levels in the original four-level solution. We have also developed a remote multi-voltage controller (accepting up to 18 V DC and converting this to a safe heating range for the garment), enabling wireless heat control from 0–100% via a dial.
Only the best is used in the Heat Layer. High-tech, moisture-wicking stretch materials with different fits for women and men.

High-tech, moisture-wicking stretch material. There is simply no better fabric for this type of garment. Just like a close-fitting top, the stretch material keeps the garment – and above all the heating panels – close to the body for optimal heat transfer. This high efficiency means that less power and heat are required to achieve a comfortable temperature. In addition to the fit, the material is developed for high comfort and efficient moisture transport. Users often point out that, apart from feeling the warmth, the garment fits so well that you hardly notice it is there.
Technical data
Current: 3.28 A
