General Warranty for Heated Garments (Warm & Safe)
All our heated garments, including gloves, glove liners and socks, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
Defects in the heating wires are warranted for the lifetime of the garment; however, breaks resulting from normal use are not covered.
Normal wear and tear, as well as damage caused by misuse or accidents, are not covered by the warranty.
Product Quality and Service Life
Warm & Safe manufactures products with a focus on long service life and durability. Earlier versions of the company’s Heat-Trollers are still in use and fully functional after more than 20 years.
Warranty for Heat-Troller
The Heat-Troller is covered by a three (3) year warranty from the date of purchase. If the unit exhibits faults due to defective components or manufacturing defects within this period, Warm & Safe will repair or replace the product.
Summary of Warranty Periods
- Heat-Troller: 3-year warranty from the date of purchase
- Heated Garments: 1-year warranty from the date of purchase
Conditions That Void the Heat-Troller Warranty
The Heat-Troller warranty becomes void if the following guidelines are not followed:
- Connectors, ring terminals or other components must not be cut off or modified.
- Only the battery harness, cigarette lighter adaptor or BMW power adaptor supplied with the controller may be used. The use of homemade adaptors or fuse blocks voids the warranty.
- Installation of the Heat-Troller must be carried out in accordance with the supplied instructions. Warm & Safe is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use or short circuits in garments from other manufacturers.
