Description
These men’s heated base layer trousers are battery-powered heated trousers designed to be worn as your first layer. They work with our 4- or 6-level control batteries. They are made from a high-tech, moisture-wicking, stretch Gelanots™ fabric that blocks wind and presses the flexible SoftHeat™ heating elements snugly against the body for optimal heat transfer, while minimising bulk. The garment is durable, washable, and extremely lightweight. It is simply the most versatile, high-tech, and efficient heated garment ever designed.
These heated trousers feature four heating zones and deliver 28 W of heat to the legs and lower back. At the ankles there are also connectors for heated socks, neatly stored in zippered pockets (there when you need them, out of the way when you don’t). The heated socks can be powered together with the trousers. The trousers, with or without socks, should be powered by their own dedicated battery, separate from the heated shirt.
Heat where you need it. Our carbon SoftHeat™ heating panels are positioned exactly where you want the heat for optimal heat transfer. Through extensive testing, we have identified and placed the heating elements in the areas where you need them most.
More control over the heat. How much warmth you need depends on several factors, such as outside temperature and which layers you are wearing under or over the garment. Some manufacturers pair an underpowered battery with a basic 3-level button controller to keep costs down, which often leaves users dissatisfied. By using twice as many heating panels and more available power, the Heat Layer delivers more even warmth, where the differences between heat levels are clear and meaningful. We felt that three levels were not enough, so we first moved to four levels and later to six levels after identifying clear “sweet spots” between the two highest levels in the original four-level solution. We have also developed a remote-controlled multi-voltage controller (accepting up to 18 V DC and converting it to a safe heating range for the garment), enabling wireless heat adjustment from 0–100% via a dial.
Only the best is used in the Heat Layer. High-tech, moisture-wicking stretch materials with different fits for women and men.

High-tech, moisture-wicking stretch fabric. There is simply no better fabric for this type of garment. Just like a close-fitting base layer, the stretch material keeps the garment – and especially the heating panels – close to the body for optimal heat transfer. This high efficiency means that less power and heat are required to achieve a comfortable temperature. In addition to the fit, the material is engineered for high comfort and effective moisture management. Users often comment that, apart from feeling the warmth, the garment fits so well that you hardly notice it is there.
